The Role Position Title: Sales Engineer The role is pivotal for Markem-Imaje in the development of new business and strategic sales for the NSW South region.
As our Sales Engineer, you will manage and lead a portfolio of accounts including local & strategic accounts, drive new sales opportunities and support national accounts as required.
This is a dynamic role and therefore, you will be highly motivated, with excellent organisational, time management and prioritising skills, who can work autonomously whilst also bringing together customers and internal departments to deliver a fantastic outcome.
What you will do: Meet annual sales targets through new business development and existing customers, who are manufacturers mainly within the food, dairy, beverage and industrial products industries.Prospect for new opportunities through cold calling and generate new customer relationships within the assigned territory.Execute high level of daily face to face customer interaction.Grow territory revenue and market share and achieve sales targets.Develop a sales plan that effectively and efficiently covers all accounts / verticals.Manage existing customer accounts and enhance customer satisfaction.What you need to have: Experienced at sales forecasting and negotiation skills.Clear understanding of the market and competitors.Experienced with customer & relationship management skills.Ability to uncover clients' needs through a consultative approach.Experienced in lead and funnel management.Excellent communicator, analytical and problem solver.Sales driven, results oriented and a team player.Qualifications and Experience: Tertiary studies in Business, or equivalent business experience.Minimum 5 years of industry Sales experience in the related industry.Ability to accurately maintain a CRM (Salesforce.com).Experience selling software solutions with hardware will be looked upon favourably.What we offer: Growth opportunities within an international environment.Performance bonus and yearly merit increase based on performance.Free car park available.Flexible work arrangement, including the option to work from home one day per week.Employee Assistance Program (EAP).You'll only be the right candidate if you are aligned to our values and culture:
