About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Sales & Distribution Manager to join our team at McHenry Hohnen Vintners' in our Margaret River winery. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our picturesque Margaret River location, Western Australia.
As a Full time Sales and Distribution Manager this role will be responsible for leading our Sales strategies to achieve the growth we have budgeted in revenue targets.
What you'll be doing Developing and implementing effective sales and distribution strategies to drive growth and expand our distribution channels which increases sales and margins.Managing relationships with key wholesale customers, including national retailers, independent bottle shops and restaurants in sync with our Distribution Partners in Australia and Internationally.Overseeing and optimising our logistics and fulfilment operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.Analysing market trends and customer data to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute integrated promotional campaigns.Providing leadership and mentorship to the sales and distribution team.Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies.What we're looking for Significant experience (5+ years) in a sales and distribution management role, preferably within the wine or broader hospitality/FMCG industry.Proven track record of driving sales growth and developing successful distribution channels.Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills.Excellent relationship management and negotiation capabilities.Proficient in data analysis and using insights to inform decision-making.Outstanding organisational and project management skills.Passion for the wine industry and an understanding of the Australian wine market.What we offerMcHenry Hohnen Vintners', was established in 2004 by the McHenry & Hohnen families whom had at that time some 40 plus years in the industry and the Margaret River Region.
