The Australian and New Zealand operation of a global leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of turnkey self-storage solutions seeks a new Sales Director. You will be responsible for driving the company's sales strategy, overseeing the sales team's performance, and ensuring the achievement of key business goals. This requires a combination of visionary leadership, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to cultivate lasting relationships with clients. You'll play a pivotal role in growing the company's market share, increasing revenue, and expanding key accounts while maintaining a customer-focused sales culture.
Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Accountability: Lead, challenge, and motivate a high-performance sales team to meet and exceed revenue, profitability, and budget targets. Foster a collaborative, results-driven environment with clear expectations for individual and team performance.Client Engagement: Develop and execute strategies to deepen client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and attract new clients. Implement a structured approach to client management and ensure the success of key accounts.Sales & Revenue Growth: Take ownership of sales targets and ensure the team meets or exceeds these targets. Deliver comprehensive sales forecasts, manage the pipeline, and drive continual improvement.Market & Product Expertise: Gain a deep understanding of the company's products and the market landscape to identify opportunities and solve client problems effectively. Be proactive in identifying new market segments and growth areas.Team Development: Mentor, coach, and develop the sales team to ensure they are equipped with the skills and motivation to succeed. Encourage a strong sense of team spirit and respect across departments.Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of business goals, leveraging insights and resources to drive sales success.Client & Market Strategy: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners.
