We're seeking a commercial, dynamic, and experienced Sales Director to help grow our Australasian business and lead our current sales teams.
As the ANZ Sales Director, you'll play an important role in identifying premium business opportunities in the APAC region.
About The Role This role reports directly to the Managing Director and leads an existing team of three Sales Managers and roughly 50 indirect reports.
This Director is responsible for customer acquisition across Australia & New Zealand as well as developing and executing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities and leading high-performing sales teams.
This role will form part of the senior leadership team within the APAC region and play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic sales strategy and ensuring alignment with Corpay objectives.
This position requires a results-driven individual with a proven track record of creating sales growth strategies and motivating teams to achieve targets.
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following activities: People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate high-performing sales teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans, including analyse market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and optimise and design sales channel plans to meet or exceed sales targets.Relationship Management: Establish and manage key channel partnerships to maximise business opportunities and represent Corpay at industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and network.Performance, Growth & Operations: Drive revenue growth by optimizing sales processes, improving conversion rates, and expanding market share.Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.Budget Management: Develop and manage sales plans, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI and achieve financial targets.About You This is a senior leadership role that requires a result focussed leader who is dedicated with a strong background in sales management, strategic planning, corporate sales and team development.
We are looking for an inspiring leader who thrives off supporting and motivating their team at every opportunity.
You must have demonstrated experience leading sales teams and proven experience leading corporate and government sales and responding to complex procurement and tender processes.
Strong analytical and reporting skills are essential, and knowledge of Salesforce CRM is preferred.
Previous experience in B2B services, transaction/payment processing, credit card services or telco would be highly advantageous.
