Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our fast-growing team.
As our Growth team's very first SDR, you will be responsible for collaborating with our Account Directors and Business Development Managers to scale our sales pipeline within the accounting, financial services and legal industries.
You'll be reporting directly to our Chief Growth Officer and working alongside our marketing, sales and customer success teams to develop multi-touch campaigns via various outbound methods (emails, calls, social media etc) to generate meetings and opportunities for the broader Growth team.
Key Responsibilities Prospecting: Collaborate with the Growth team to identify and nurture potential prospects by developing targeted lead lists, call, email and social media scripts and strategies, product value propositions and other multi-touch outbound tactics to drive the sales pipeline.
Initiate and manage outbound prospecting through a combination of activities (cold calls, emails, and social media etc) with the aim of scheduling qualified, first-call sales presentations for the Growth team.
Build Relationships: Develop strong and meaningful relationships with prospects by seeking to understand their challenges and how it may align with Acis' product and service offerings.
Maintain accurate and updated records across Acis' CRM (Salesforce) system to track and manage leads, meetings, sales activities and opportunity conversions.
Achieve Sales and Activities Targets: Meet and exceed key performance metrics, including the number of qualified leads and meetings set.
Maintain a high level of daily activity through calls, emails, social media and other prospecting tools to uncover relevant prospects to target.
Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with our products/services, industry trends, and competitors to develop targeted and relevant sales content to deliver engaging outbound touchpoints with prospects.
Inbound Lead Triage: Be responsible for triaging inbound and other marketing generated leads (i.e webinars, events etc) to the broader Growth team.
CRM: Develop or bring knowledge and expertise across specific marketing and outbound sales functionalities within Salesforce (Pardot, Account Engagement etc).
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
2 - 3 years of cold calling sales experience - ideally for a company that sells services, software or products into the accounting, legal or wealth advisory industries.
Experience making a high volume of outbound calls in a phone-based role.
A proven track record of consistency in overachieving targets.
Excellent communication & presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and convincingly.
Ability to work independently & as part of a team.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
