SALES DEVELOPMENT LEADER | FULL TIME Gold Coast, Australia
SALES DEVELOPMENT LEADER NEEDED WITH EXPERIENCE IN B2B TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY About the Business Australia Go To Market Pty Ltd is a new business, founded by an experienced Executive with over 20 years of experience leading integrated Go-to-Market teams in the business-to-business (B2B) Technology industry in Australia, specialising in Software-as-as-Service (SaaS).

We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Development Leader to join our team.
The Sales Development Leader will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients for the business, managing partner and investor relationships, delivering sales expertise and advice to clients, and managing delivery of client projects in conjunction with internal consultants and third party subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities • Proactively uncover and nurture sales opportunities to improve company growth, including promoting services to existing and prospective clients.
Includes developing lists/records of prospective clients and client businesses utilising a variety of sources.

• Proactively manage relationships with referring partners (e.g.
investors) to maximise revenue outcomes, including assessing their needs and identifying suitable services available.

• Ensure client needs and requirements are met by developing client, market and go-to-market knowledge and practical expertise, specifically in the sales domain.

• Follow up on client projects to ensure client, partner and investor expectations.

• Quoting and negotiating prices and payment terms with clients.
Includes managing and completing contracts and maintaining records of sales made and contracts signed.

• Leading a successful team of internal consultants and external subcontractors to deliver sales engagements successfully.

• Deliver strategic sales advice and expertise both to clients and to our own business.

• Develop a plan for the next phase of sales growth, leveraging knowledge of representing global SaaS companies in the Australia/NZ market.
Includes maintaining current knowledge of industry competitors and current market conditions in order to effectively represent services offered by the Employer.

• Help build a strong culture within the team of internal consultants and external subcontractors.

• Assist with hiring, leading and coaching internal consultants and external subcontractors
• Preparing sales reports, and maintaining records of expenses.
Includes reports as to the marketability of services in current market conditions.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• At least two years' experience is required
• Proven experience in the business-to-business (B2B) technology industry specialising in Software-as-as-Service (SaaS)
