A Sales Coordinator with Hilton Sydney supports the hotel sales team to maximise revenue opportunities in all areas of rooms, conferences and events by aiding with sales leads and conversion.
What will I be doing? This position is responsible for supporting the Hilton Sydney sales team in the promotion and selling of the hotel's conference, event, and bedrooms. This will be achieved through sound lead allocation, effective qualifying throughout the initial enquiry, delivery of comprehensive and customised proposals, accurate input of bookings into the hotel booking system and preparation of final event agreements.
As Sales Coordinator, you will be working within the Sales team to respond to enquiries, convert business, and maximise revenue. Each day will be different, with the following tasks being performed to the highest standards:
Preparation of event proposalsInput of bookings into the event and group booking systemsPreparation of event agreementsQualification of enquiries via both phone and emailSupport preparation of client site inspections and entertainmentParticipate in hotel promotional activitiesSupport arrangements for international and national trade shows, industry eventsSupport key internal stakeholdersWhat are we looking for? Excellent organisational and administration skillsPositive attitude and excellent communication skillsCommitment to delivering a high level of customer serviceConfident and professional telephone mannerHigh level of IT skills Delphi FDC preferredIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
