Expanding our market offering, Yokogawa is extending its presence and searching for a Regional Sales Development Manager from a Health Safety background to represent our RAP4 product in the APAC region.
Based in Sydney, this role will see you growing the Control of Work Safety product (RAP4) through existing customer relationships, product promotion, identifying market opportunities, and implementing the market strategy.
Role Responsibilities:
Building a sales pipeline and consistently winning new deals through supporting operating companies including direct engagement with current and potential clients.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of clients' business and technical challenges, operating and maintenance environment, capabilities and goals, and the competitive landscape.
Build Yokogawa's RAP4 brand and knowledge of our value in conjunction with our marketing team, including travel to client and other sites.
Deliver demonstrations and sales presentations, both internally and externally.
Create internal pricing using the RAP pricing tool, development, and presentation of proposal content and materials.
Work with the existing Yokogawa operating companies' sales teams and the RAP marketing function.
To be considered for the role, you'll need to demonstrate:
Proven and demonstrable history of sales success, ideally with health safety products or similar.
Knowledge of control or work and related safety systems within Operations and Maintenance functions at industrial high hazard plants would be a considerable advantage.
Knowledge of industrial processes and experience of working on them or in supplying industrial equipment including specification, selection, and installation would also be a benefit.
Experience in managing long sales and complex RFI/RFP processes.
Relevant qualification in an engineering or process-related subject.
Robust forecasting and time management capabilities.
Excellent communication skills, comfortable in building and managing relationships at the senior level, with an ability to interpret complex technical issues and translate them into business needs.
Strong negotiation skills, persistence, and follow-through with accounts.
