We are looking for a motivated, dynamic Sales Consultant to join our fantastic sales team based in Townsville. Your responsibilities will be to build on solid existing client relationships while using your outstanding sales skills and outgoing personality to win new sales and clients in your sales territory (far north Queensland including Townsville, Cairns, and surrounding areas). This Sales Consultant will be responsible for a portfolio within our Pest and Hygiene divisions.
The candidate must be based in Townsville and will operate out of the office in Townsville. To help achieve this, we will provide you with a competitive base salary, highly rewarding uncapped commission structure, company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop, and career opportunities. You will also receive full product training, with hands-on assistance from the Sales Manager, Business Manager, and the Sales Team.
In this role, you will be responsible for these key areas: Driving sales revenue by hunting new business opportunities via cold calling.Servicing our existing client base and analyzing their needs to increase sales.Developing and implementing sales plans to achieve set sales targets.Building strong customer relationships and managing a sales pipeline.Identifying customer needs and knowing how to deliver successful sales.You will have skills and experience including: Minimum 2 years of B2B Sales experience with a proven track record in exceeding sales targets.Proven ability to source new business and customers and leverage existing relationships to increase sales.Experience in working with CRM Systems, Google systems, and Microsoft Office applications.Demonstrated time management skills.Ability to cold-call and plan sales territory.Self-motivation and ability to work autonomously.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Full Australian Driver's Licence.Overnight travel to Cairns required (once per month).Able to travel to regional areas as sales opportunities require.It would be highly advantageous if you also have: Excellent sales, solutions, and negotiation skills.Strive to reach and exceed sales.Versatility to build rapport with people at all levels.Commercially focused.Rentokil Initial is a member of the FTSE 100 of leading companies.
