About the Role
As a Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through proactive sales efforts and fostering relationships across the Atlas Carbon & MaiaGrazing brands. You will leverage your deep understanding of the products and industry expertise to engage with prospective customers, understand their needs, and propose tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a sales pipeline, including identifying and prioritising leads, tracking progress, and closing deals. Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the company's network and identify new opportunities. Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals. Develop and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and preferences. Acquire in-depth knowledge about the products or services being offered and stay updated on industry trends. Represent the company's brand and values positively in all interactions with clients and prospects. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations or product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of the company's offerings. Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress in CRM systems. Navigate the sales process to close deals, ensuring all necessary paperwork and approvals are completed. Your Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in prospecting and acquiring new business within the agricultural sector. Established relationships and experience working with livestock producers in Queensland. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage complex, long sales cycles. Results-driven mindset with a strong motivation to achieve and exceed sales targets. Familiarity with digital tools, particularly CRMs (ideally HubSpot), to streamline processes. Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients. Location
You must be based in Queensland or northern New South Wales.
