How you'll make an impact You'll be an integral part of the Global Sales Commission's team by administering our sales commission and incentive plans for approx. 400 Xero's across the world. Reporting to the Global Head of Sales Operations, this role will be working cross-functionally with regional Sales, Operations, Finance and Payroll teams .
What you'll doFully understand and administer Xero's Sales Commission plansReview and maintain relevant data required to calculate commissions in our compensation systems e.g. Comp plan terms, sales targets, salariesPrepare, calculate, and analyze the monthly commissions payout in accordance to Xero's monthly & quarterly cadenceDistribute and track completeness of compensation plan sign-off to ensure compliance with company policiesSupport the Accounting team in timely and accurate preparation of monthly accruals for commissions accountingAct as Point of Contact for all commissions related questions and provide thorough and timely support to key stakeholders across the sales organisation.Identify and troubleshoot system and data variances and provide resolutionsPerform in-depth analysis on compensation data sets to surface information critical for the business to make informed decisionAd Hoc projects and requests, as neededSuccess looks likeYou're constantly improving and evolving our Sales Comissions processesYou're a team player, supporting and contributing to the commission's team effectivenessYou're a trusted advisor to our sales teams and contributing to the growth of our sales channelYou're delivering on schedule, against agreed deadlines, to the highest quality standardsWhat you'll bring with youBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferredProven experience (2+ years) in sales commissions or financial analyst roleStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and performance metrics.Intermediate spreadsheet skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in compensation software and CRM tools e.g. Salesforce, XactlyDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and relationship building skillsExcellent planning skills with the ability to prioritise and multitaskAdaptable and proactive in a fast-paced, changing environment.Why Xero?
