This role demands a strategic thinker who can blend innovation with practical solutions, coupled with working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure seamless execution of key projects and customer satisfaction.You will be supported and provided with a structured onboarding and training plan, allowing quality time spent with relevant stakeholders to ensure you are well integrated into the business.Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy Development:Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and profitability targets.Analyse market trends to identify new opportunities for growth and business expansion.Set sales goals, forecasts, and targets for the team.Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key commercial customers.Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.Handle high-value contracts, negotiations, and closing deals.Team Management:Lead, manage, and mentor a sales team, ensuring they meet their targets.Provide training and development to improve sales skills and product knowledge.Collaborate with other departments (like operations, finance, and marketing) to ensure seamless customer service.Commercial Management:Ensure all commercial activities are aligned with business objectives, including pricing, tender management, and contract negotiation.Evaluate the profitability of contracts and projects, ensuring they meet company financial goals.Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within cost and maximizing margins.Manage regular sales reports, including pipeline management, sales forecasts, and financial performance.Analyze sales data to adjust strategies, improve performance, and maximize revenue.Innovation and Product Development:Work with product development teams to ensure customer needs and market demands are addressed in new offerings.Promote the company's products and innovations, like Eden4 technology, to customers and stakeholders.Operational Coordination:Understand operational needs and constraints, ensuring the sales team provides accurate estimates and timelines to customers.This role will be key in driving revenue and ensuring the commercial success of Project Green Group (or any business it serves), focusing on both maintaining existing business and acquiring new clients.Travel required to meet with clients and attend industry events.Your ability to collaborate, communicate effectively, create strong working relationships, coupled with conducting yourself in a professional manner at all times will see you succeed in this role, as will your ability to continue to lead and drive a highly experienced sales team.Qualifications, Skills & Experience:A bachelor's degree in Business, Sales or Commerce, or a related field would be highly regarded.A minimum of 5-10 years experience in a similar role ideally within the Arboriculture, Construction or Environmental industry.Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive profitability.Strong understanding of tendering, estimation and quoting processes.Sound knowledge of operational processes and how they impact project delivery.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Familiarity with technology sales, particularly in the context of asset collecting or similar products, is desirable.How to Apply:If you are excited about this opportunity and believe you have the skills and experience, we are looking for, we would love to hear from you!
