Additional Information :
These roles are Temporary, Part-time 40hrs / fortnight.
As a Temporary Part-time Co-worker your contract start date will be 9th December 2024 and the end date will be 2nd March 2025.
The shift times required to work will be spread between 9:00am to 7:30pm and 8:30pm (Thursday to Saturday) weekdays and weekends.
You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
RECRUITMENT PROCESS AND KEY DATES
We require adequate availability, without holidays booked, during the peak trading period (from December to March) for this role.

About this work area
As a Sales Co-worker you will work across different areas within the Selling function, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
Be an IKEA Ambassador by understanding that you impact our customer's experience by being able to offer solutions and answer questions that relate to their home furnishing needs.
Supporting customers with their home furnishing (kitchens, living room storage or wardrobes) design process using the IKEA 3D rendering software.
Condensing stock, including unloading pallets and cutting boxes open to restock appropriate products.
Maintaining a clean and organised sales area, ensuring all products are properly priced and fully stocked.
Assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality.
Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Stay knowledgeable about in-store specials, delivery options, product features and benefits.
As Sales Co-worker you are or have :
Passionate about our home furnishing products and working with customers.
Proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA range.
Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and manage your own tasks.
A calm and confident approach along with strong communication and customer skills, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do.
A Togetherness mindset where you'll work closely with your team and other departments yet also be able to work independently.
A safety mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive lifting.
