About the role We are looking for motivated local Service Technicians to join our Pooraka workshop team with Field Service when required. This exciting role involves working directly with an OEM ensuring efficient maintenance and repair of our client's Sandvik Mining equipment both in the workshop and local sites. Roster: 7 days on 7 days off 12-hour days The responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to: Carry out general mechanical duties, maintenance, repairs and fault diagnosis work on all Sandvik Mining equipment. Performing mechanical maintenance duties as per maintenance plans while upholding the integrity of the equipment and ensuring safe operation is not compromised. Providing feedback for efficient maintenance planning improvements. Record keeping of parts usage, equipment monitoring, and time records. Adhering to all policies & procedures, especially EHS policies. About you To be successful for this role you will have: Australian recognized Mechanical Trade Certification. Experience maintaining underground drills, loaders, and trucks is looked upon favorably. Ability to pass drug & alcohol tests, reference checks, and police checks. Strong and proven safety culture. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service focus and motivation and determination to achieve targets and goals. Proactive, self-motivated, and demonstrate initiative. Basic computer literacy. Agencies need not apply.
