The role We have an exciting opportunity available for a qualified HD mechanic to join our afternoon shift team based at our state-of-the-art workshop in Kenwick, WA.
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, in a challenging and busy environment you will be required to:
Pre Deliver brand new machinery to customers all over Australia, including UG and Surface Drills, UG Boggers and Trucks
Complete machine rebuilds
Support the latest technology including our autonomous machinery, battery electric and remote monitoring
The role is permanent full-time opportunity for a tradesperson who is looking for a long-term career in mining. Afternoon shift details: 2pm – 12am, (10 hours per shift, paid break) Monday to Thursday (enjoy a long weekend every weekend!)
Your profile Previous experience working on a variety of Sandvik mining equipment.
Experience with Rebuilds advantageous.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude
Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems, with the ability to be able to read and interpret schematics.
Able to pass a pre-employment medical
Have the right to work in Australia
