Sales And Marketing Specialist

Farmers Warehouse, a respected and long-established rural store with locations in Singleton and Dungog, is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Marketing and Sales person to join our Singleton team. This newly created full-time role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and truly carve out your own path in a rural industry.
In this dynamic position, combining Marketing and Sales responsibilities, you will report directly to the Managing Director. With your rural background, you will leverage your expertise in sales and customer service to promote our products and services across various channels. This versatile role includes all aspects of counter sales and customer service, as well as marketing through social media, our website and various other platforms.
On any given day, you will:
Conduct counter sales and provide excellent customer service (some manual handling expected)
Utilise your eye for detail to display products effectively and conduct accurate stock checks
Participate in product training
Establish and manage marketing plans for field days and special events
Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop seasonal sales and marketing strategies
Create compelling written content for media, SMS, website, social media, and other channels as needed
Assist with financial and budget management for media and communications campaigns
Develop and maintain positive, proactive media relationships with customers and vendors
What you bring:
Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in social media, digital strategy, communications, and media
Strong written communication skills
Knowledge of the media landscape with experience in content development across various platforms, including written, video, and digital
A natural ability to build meaningful relationships and an enthusiasm for media, who is results driven.
