Reporting to the General Manager of Sales and working closely across the Commercial division to ensure team members have the necessary reports, documents, and marketing collateral to facilitate the achievement of business objectives.
DAY TO DAY, THE ROLE WILL : Assist with the sales and marketing plan development and implementationCollaborate with the Marketing Manager to update the ATC website with sales-related content designed to drive inquiries and booking conversions.Assist with event coordination, including engaging with suppliers to create display concepts and booking trade show spaces.Assist in developing marketing campaigns and collateral to promote Meetings & Events venues and Raceday HospitalityProvide ad hoc administrative support to the General Manager of Sales and Business Development team, including preparing reports, researching event leads, producing event proposals, and record keeping.THE RIGHT FIT To be successful in the role, the right candidate will possess:
Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise, negotiate and consult with a broad range of internal and external stakeholdersComputer literacy and proficiency in operating the USI CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system and Microsoft software packages.RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certificate is essential whilst the RCG (Responsible Conduct of Gambling) Certificate is desirable.Relevant tertiary qualifications in commerce, marketing, communications, tourism, and/or event management combined with moderate field experience in a group or satellite sales role environment is desirable.Previous sales experience within events/entertainment/hospitality industries is desirable.If you believe you are the right fit and can demonstrate our values day to day, then come join us.
