The role Universal Cranes has just recently acquired Gold Coast Cranes, a well-established crane hire company located in Burleigh Heads. We are seeking an experienced Sales and Crane Supervisor to join the team and support our Universal Cranes operations on the Gold Coast.
In this key position, you will work closely with customers and the operational team members to maintain customer relationships and deliver on the company's core services. You will be responsible for servicing customers effectively through the complete crane hire rental process (Lead > Site inspection > Lift planning/study > Quote > Plan > Supervise > Invoice).
Responsibilities Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships including internal, clients, and contractors. Assess site conditions, develop efficient and innovative lift solutions, and negotiate sales with clients. Supervise lift execution to ensure safe and efficient outcomes across multiple sites. About you Prior experience in Sales and Supervisory roles. Prior experience in a mobile crane hire business (casual crane hire in Metro/city areas). Prior experience in lift planning/lift studies (LICCON, KranXpert, CRANEbee, AutoCAD, Excel). More than 5 years' experience in the crane industry. Professional communication skills - phone, in-person, and email. Business acumen and negotiation skills with the ability to be quick-thinking. Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Ability to work in a team and autonomously. Technical competence matched with innovation and great problem-solving; a keen eye for detail and a curiosity to learn more. Organisational and time management skills; ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and retain information. Strong team player with proven interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships (internally and externally). Numerical accuracy and ability to adapt and learn new software. Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Professionalism in on-site presentation and communication with customers. Maturity and ability to deal with multi-site, multi-cultural teams. Why us?
