Sales And Application Engineer

This is a permanent full-time position primarily responsible for completing all the sales activities associated with the national OE sales process.
Specifically, you will: Responsible for application engineering (equipment selection) from customer specifications for all Sandvik equipment predominantly Screens, Feeders and TLO systems (as required).Responsible for the preparation of technical content for tenders & quotations in a timely and professional manner.Managing all aspects of the sales process from customer liaison to Project handover following award.Project-manage the enquiry process, ensuring the required input from both internal and external stakeholders.Accurate completion of equipment data sheets.Remote travel throughout Australia to support the sales process and provide technical support (as required).Provide input into the sales forecast as required by the business.To be successful in the above duties, you will have: Degree qualified in a Technical field with a preference for Mechanical or Process engineering.Experience in a technical sales environment, with awareness of the tender process.A technical aptitude with the ability to accurately interpret detailed technical documents.Well-developed communication skills (talking & listening) with a network of established relevant contacts.A business acumen and proven record of success.A confident, self-motivated team player.What we offer: We believe that our people are the heart of our organisation.
