Empire Office Furniture has grown over the past 40 plus years and is Australia's largest office furniture supplier. We currently have 9 showrooms servicing North Queensland, Sunshine Coast, Greater Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sydney.
We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Sales Support and Administration Assistant to support our team. Based at our Townsville showroom, this is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Some of the tasks you will be doing may include but are not limited to: Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services to effectively assist customers in their office furniture requirements Creation of quotes and following the process of sales through to delivery Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery time frames are met Sales administration and support to the sales and dispatch team Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and transactions Assist with the furniture showroom display and pricing Assisting the dispatch team with the customer pickup process and invoicing of orders To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate: Excellent organisation skills with strong computer systems knowledge A solid understanding of the flow of information within a business The ability to work within a team in a busy environment, whilst managing multiple tasks on the go Effective communication skills and a willingness to assist in all areas of business operations Exceptional customer service In return, you will experience: A dynamic, adaptable, and positive work environment and culture Comprehensive in-house and on-the-job training Opportunity to engage with a wide range of corporate and domestic customers Potential to develop and progress your career within Australia's leading Office Furniture Business.
