We are currently offering a great opportunity for a driven Agronomist to join our team in Lake Grace, WA
About the opportunity: Reporting to the Branch Manager.
You will provide agronomic and technical support to our farmers and producers in the region, with product sales both in store and on farm.
In addition, you will:
Build long-term client relationships and develop a strong understanding of the clients' business goals You will maintain strong relationships with the existing customers Share technical and market information to enable clients to improve the performance and sustainability of their enterprises. Target new clients through the provision of superior sales and agronomic input. Keep up to date with the latest plant production practices Run and coordinate field days and farmer meetings Be the go-to subject matter expert in the region for agronomic inputs and other advice.
About You:
To be successful you will:
Have established yourself as a trusted advisor in an agronomy role and demonstrate an understanding of the products, seasonal timings and general requirements of rural producers.
Have sound customer service, organisational, administrative and computing skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Have an understanding of the sales process and strong sales activity and call cycle management. A tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field and a current driver's license is essential. Experience in an agronomic advisory role related to agricultural chemicals and fertiliser will be highly desirable A clean and current drivers license is essential for the role Why work for us?
