Position Overview: The Sales Admin Support role provides essential administrative assistance to the Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Sydney.
This role primarily focuses on managing sales pipelines, maintaining accurate customer data, supporting communication efforts, and ensuring the smooth operation of the sales process.
This role will also engage directly with potential customers, managing email correspondence and building outreach.
The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the Sales team to stay organized and efficient in managing new and existing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Support and Communication:Draft and schedule outreach emails and follow-ups for SDRs.Manage email correspondence with customers and build outreach.Support with ad-hoc administrative tasks to assist in the sales process.Assist the SDR by managing and updating the sales pipeline, ensuring all leads and opportunities are accurately recorded in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot).Ensure timely follow-ups with leads and prospects by updating reminders and tracking sales activity.Customer Data Management:Maintain and update accurate customer records, contact information, and sales activity logs.Support the SDR in segmenting and organizing leads for targeted outreach.Sales Reporting and Insights:Track key sales metrics and assist in generating weekly or monthly sales performance reports.Help analyze sales trends and provide insights to improve sales strategies.Coordination and Scheduling:Schedule meetings and calls with potential clients, ensuring all appointments are efficiently coordinated.Assist in the preparation for sales meetings, including preparing agendas and following up with action items.Skills Required: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and sales tools to track leads and opportunities.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and maintain large volumes of customer data.Competence in data entry and managing spreadsheets (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with a professional tone suitable for outreach and internal collaboration.Ability to draft emails and messages with clarity and attention to detail.High level of accuracy and attention to detail when updating records and managing data.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in sales administration, sales support, or a similar role.Exposure to sales processes and pipelines in a B2B environment.Basic understanding of sales terminology and CRM best practices.
