Our door units incorporate pressed steel door frames, steel sheeted door leaves and associated door hardware.About The RoleWe are looking for a proven results focussed Sales Admin / Purchasing Officer to join the team, based in Hendon, SA. The role will be responsible for Sales Administration and for supply of materials, equipment and consumables, in consultation with Project Managers and Production Manager.The responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:Determine requirements for supply of materials, equipment and consumables, in consultation with Project Managers, Production Manager and details from project files.Liaise with suppliers to determine the availability and suitability of materials and servicesNegotiate best price and delivery with suppliers in order to meet production schedule and project deadlines.Place purchase orders listing specific technical requirements, price and delivery through the business accounting systemMaintain and manage the purchasing module within the accounting systemMaintain and manage the Monday.com programme ensuring all Sales and Purchasing functions are up to date as per the process guidelinesEnsure job packs are updated with relevant Sales/Purchasing informationEnsure materials and services are provided in accordance with specification and agreed delivery. Chase up suppliers to ensure delivery is going to be metDevelop and implement purchasing management information to assist in the communication and control of materials for the benefit of other staffUpdate stock control program with weekly stock transfersProcess all materials receipts against purchase orderAdministration & SystemsAssist Finance Manager in Administration support when and as requiredProvide back up support for other members of Operations teamAssist Sales team with Admin functionsGreeting clients via phone or in personEnsuring the phones are answered in a timely and professional manner. Accurate messages taken are passed on to the recipient promptly.Maintain stock levels of stationery and staff amenitiesFiling, scanning and photocopyingMaintain efficient, clean and tidy work areaThe ideal candidate will be results oriented with a hands-on approach and a sense of responsibility and ownership.
