We are currently seeking a sales professional to join our Australian Team.
Based in Melbourne, the Clinical Account Manager role is accountable for managing customer relationships with our Victorian and Tasmanian Public Hospitals and Private Pathology laboratories.
Having strong technical skills and commercial aptitude, your responsibilities shall include achieving annual revenue and business performance targets.
This role reports to the Associate Director Clinical Sales (ANZ).
Key Accountabilities: Managing and developing bioMérieux's reputation for excellence through high trust customer relationships.Achieving sales revenue and business performance expectations.Account Management – managing and maintaining contracts, pricing management, quotations, opportunity management, business reviews and coordination of tender responses.Having a detailed and current understanding of customers' situations, organization architecture, and infectious disease diagnostics service capabilities.Key Responsibilities: Visit customers to learn and understand their needs and challenges.Prioritize and manage opportunities.Prepare quotations, proposals, negotiate and maintain all customer pricing details.Manage customer relationships through regular and value-added visits.Be the champion for your territory in team meetings.Attend user group meetings, workshops, conferences, and industry seminars as required.Work as a team with Field Application Specialists, Field Service Engineers, the Supply Chain, and Marketing teams.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor activity and representation in the territory.Maintain up-to-date and accurate information in the company business and CRM systems.To be successful in this position, you will have a science degree or equivalent qualification, and demonstrated experience in developing and delivering business opportunities.
At least 3 years' experience working in a microbiology or molecular diagnostics laboratory environment would be an advantage.
You will have an unrestricted driver license, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and be competitive.
You will like taking initiative, have strong business acumen, and enjoy building relationships.
You will be required to travel interstate.
