As an Account Manager within the Commercial Finance Sales team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers across multiple industries to provide first in class customer experience and robust customer lifecycle management strategies in order to drive customer retention and incremental growth by both Relationship Management and Business Development activity.
You will be required to work closely with representatives of existing and prospective distributors and dealers across both Australia and New Zealand. The role will also be a key liaison on designated accounts with internal departments of DLL including Business Support, Credit, Settlements, Customer Service, Collections, Finance and Asset Management.
The role will be directly responsible for key designated accounts, with an individual sales target and will report into the Senior Relationship Manager, Commercial Finance. Typical KPIs will include business development targets (new and existing), margin and other income, partner satisfaction, call activity, and compliance.
Day to day Expand and maintain existing partnerships through proactive relationship management. Increase new business volume and DLL share of partner business, through regular call cycles & visitations, problem solving, and process improvements.
Signal sales opportunities for follow up by the business development team for new partner acquisition.
Oversee designated new partner onboarding and training, covering finance product information, DLL's value proposition to partners and their customers, details on the transaction origination process end-to-end, and other information to develop successful partnerships.
Continuously monitor and follow-up on leads in the pipeline with existing partners (and prospects).
Handle first-line escalation for non-standard enquiries, including pricing, changes in terms & conditions, priority deal management and settlement exceptions. Also act as first-line support for partner queries on deal status for designated accounts and other matters.
Work with partners to drive efficiencies and process improvement, in particular to streamline the handling of incoming applications, approvals and settlements as required.
Oversee and manage the portfolio across designated partners, ensuring that the portfolio is compliant with DLL requirements.
Your Profile Working rights in Australia
Minimum 5 years' experience in a comparative inside sales or relationship management role.
High level of interpersonal skills, including an ability to develop close relationships at all levels, and across new referral partners, existing partner contacts, and DLL internal (local and global) stakeholders.
Self-starter, able to self-motivate and work autonomously.
High attention to detail, and a strong compliance focus.
Deadline driven, and with excellent time management skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and with an adaptive approach.
Demonstrated experience in identifying customer needs, and going above expectations in delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
A growth mindset, with proven ability to constantly improve oneself .
