The Royal Geelong Yacht Club is expanding its team once again, we are seeking a Sailing Coordinator to join our growing team. The Sailing Coordinator at the Royal Geelong Yacht Club (RGYC) is a vital role responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of all sailing programs and activities. This position involves meticulous planning, resource allocation, and execution of sailing events to the highest standards. Working closely with the Sailing Manager and Sailing Administrator, the Coordinator ensures seamless operations, adapts to seasonal demands, and aligns with the Club's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the delivery of all RGYC sailing programs and activities, including resource allocation and event planning along with Volunteer management.
Assist in developing and implementing the annual sailing program and sailing marketing and communications plan.
Ensure compliance with Australian Sailing regulations and provide guidance to instructors and coaches.
Perform day-to-day maintenance of sailing assets and coordinate external maintenance providers.
Collaborate with the Sailing Manager, Sailing Administrator, and volunteers to ensure seamless operations.
Communicate effectively within the Sailing department and collaborate on rosters and event planning.
Key Selection Criteria:
Comprehensive experience with sailing and powerboats.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Marine License and a valid Working with Children Check.
Proven experience in a club or sporting organization.
Desirable Qualifications:
Australian Sailing Dinghy, Powerboat, Keelboat Instructor, or Senior Instructor qualifications.
Australian Sailing Coach qualifications.
Australian Sailing Race Officer qualifications.
