Description CALIBRE, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Cloud Architect to support a Federal client in Rockville, MD.
The ideal candidate will serve as the primary technical point of contact for Cloud Platform Management and Support, utilizing industry best practices such as Lean IT, Agile methodologies, and DevSecOps.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply DevSecOps principles, agile software development best practices, and tools to IT infrastructure and operations to optimize IT delivery objectives. Provide technical consultation and offer solutions to complex IT/cloud challenges. Design and guide implementation of cloud Enterprise IT architectures. Evaluate and ensure consistency through technical design, engineering, and sustainment efforts. This role requires knowledge of cloud computing, architecture, and security. The successful candidate will have experience working with various cloud platforms and technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior technical role, is required.
We offer a competitive salary of $140,000 - $180,000 per year , depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
