This full-time, permanent role will see you make a meaningful difference to the business in creating a strong safety culture and ensuring improvements to the ongoing management, monitoring and ultimately, positive safety and wellbeing outcomes.
This position provides technical and subject matter expertise in relation to systems, data and processes and ensuring that these are fit for purpose.
The Safety and Wellbeing Partner is a trusted advisor across the business in relation to all health, safety and wellbeing matters.
Responsibilities of this role include (and are not limited to): Leading the identification of, and delivery against, safety performance indicators for operations, aligning to best practice and industry standards and driving continuous improvement Management of safety, health and wellbeing data, analytics, and insights, including reporting and data integrity Supporting the building of leader and key stakeholder capability through effective relationship building, influencing, coaching and structured upskilling programs Deliver engaging, appropriate, and informative communications on safety, health and wellbeing across the business, including monthly packs, alerts, and messaging Leading the management of the safety, health and wellbeing risk management program, including critical and high frequency risks Ensuring that the organisation meets its ongoing legislative requirements, including regulatory reporting.
To succeed in this role, you will have a strong track record (min.
5 years') as a trusted health, safety and wellbeing specialist and a resilient, proactive approach.
Demonstratable skills in developing and managing successful safety and wellbeing strategies within a large, fast-paced and customer-focused organisation (Retail sector preferred) will be key to your background.
Your ability to build productive relationships with all stakeholders to influence strategies and results is essential, as are your qualifications in safety, health and wellbeing and/or industry-relevant experience.
