Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia.
The Bellevue mine has a forecasted 10+ year mine life producing over 200,000 Au Ozs for the first five years of production.
Construction of the mill has recently been completed, with first gold pour completed in CY Q4 2023. Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risk the project in advance of underground production.
The operation is an industry standout with strong financial and ESG metrics underpinned by the exceptional grade of the project. The Bellevue Gold Project is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district.

Job DescriptionReporting to the Safety Training Coordinator, this role will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of a skills training program that ensures group and individual training and assessment needs are identified and achieved for all Bellevue Gold site employees.
Working back-to-back with the Emergency Response Coordinator responsible for the day-to-day function and maintenance of the mine rescue team and supporting the emergency response functions.
This includes being the on-call duty emergency officer, maintaining rescue ready equipment and running the weekly mine rescue training on-site.
This role is offered on a fly in fly out basis working 8 days on and 6 days rest and recover rotation.
This position is offered on a full-time basis, working 12 hours per day on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster at our Bellevue Gold Project outside of Leinster WA.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Delivery of training and assessment requirements within the business.Planning and delivery of the annual training plan and training needs analysis.Development and review of onsite training and assessment materials.Scheduling, booking and co-ordination of both internal and external training activities.Identify and report opportunities for improvement to the training system.Conducting Verification of Competencies (VOC) documentation as per company requirements.Provide information to the Work Health Safety Manager to monitor and manage the performance of the mine site against the annual training plans.Manage the site data to ensure compliance with the Learning Management System.Ad-hoc duties as directed by Safety Training Coordinator or WHS Manager.Maintain emergency equipment and ensure it is ready for use and maintained to standard.Respond, control and participate in the Emergency Response team activities during any emergency incidents that may occur on site.Coordination of ERT training and real-life accident/emergency situations.Build individual and workforce capability by developing and maintaining emergency response skills in accordance with departmental training requirements.Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and understanding of underground & surface mining operations, haulage mineral processing of precious metals and shared use infrastructure to enable the competent delivery of an emergency response service.Continue mutual aid communication and cross pollination of available training and outcomes with mutual aid partners.Participate in mock emergency training / desktop and practical demonstrations.Ensure calibration and testing of equipment where required / maintaining of records.Conduct emergency evacuation equipment checks and inspections.Ensure cleaning, sterilisation of equipment (where required) and storage / maintaining of records.Maintain inspection and maintenance checklists, logs, repairs and servicing records.Assisting with maintaining of Fire appliances / Checks - Servicing and repair.Other duties as required by your Supervisor/Manager.Desired Skills and ExperienceKey Skills/Qualifications/Experience/Competencies:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessing – TAE 40116.Experience in similar roles or regional environment, preferably within mining or resources industry.Certificate III Emergency Response & Rescue including undertake vertical and confined space rescue.Underground Search and Rescue and Operate Self Contained regenerative breathing apparatus (Required).Strong time management and coordination ability.Good understanding of RTO training.Experience in working with a diverse workforce.Ability to undertake a gap analysis of site training matrix / training needs analysis (TNA).Hold the required competencies to be able to be registered through an RTO, to deliver Nationally Recognised Training e.g., Working at Heights.Experience with INX InTution and LMS (Desirable).Well-developed time management skills.Current and valid C Class Western Australian Driver's License.BGL is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and building an organization which provides equal opportunities for all its employees with the objective of attracting, retaining, and developing a workforce that is representative of the wider community.
