About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious individual to join Viterra's team of established and skilled safety professionals in a permanent full-time role. As the Safety Systems and Reporting Coordinator, you will leverage your safety experience and strong knowledge of WHS legislation to assist in the development of our management system. You will also maintain and analyse health and safety data and use your strong written communication skills to produce regular and ad-hoc reports to help the business better understand health and safety trends and opportunities. Duties
Produce regular and ad-hoc reports, maintain data and statistics regarding activities, opportunities and trends, ensuring reports are prepared and distributed in a timely manner. Assist in the monitoring of legislative change and review and assist in updating impacted health and safety systems. Assist in the maintenance and development of Viterra's health and safety management system and act as back-up for the Safety Systems Advisor. Engage with other members of the health and safety team and the wider business on changes to the management system. Support other functions within the team during periods of absence. About you
Work health and safety qualification at a certificate IV level or above. At least two years' experience in a safety role, preferably within a self-insured environment. Ability to review and analyse data and provide written analysis. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build effective working relationships. Excellent attention to detail. Sound knowledge of technology to support business and delivery of role, specifically in a Windows-based environment. Knowledge of SA WHS Act, Regulations and Codes of Practice.
