Safety Specialist

Role As a Safety Specialist you will operationally lead safety throughout the manufacturing site being a visible leader. The main challenges for this role will be leading the process by example, changing behaviour by providing accurate advice and building relationships with internal staff. Reporting to the EHS Manager you will consistently develop, promote, monitor and manage health and safety provisions across the business division.
Requirements Tertiary qualification in occupational health & safety. Demonstrated extensive knowledge and minimum three years' experience in a safety role across manufacturing, logistics or construction. Practical approach with extensive knowledge of legislative requirements within the state. Demonstrated strategic planning, analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven leadership ability to drive change and to initiate and develop solutions within the organisation.
