As a Safety and Security Officer, you will be joining a large high performing team that values safety and takes pride in their work. The team is responsible for providing a welcoming, friendly and safe environment for all employees, visitors and patrons of The Star Gold Coast. You will be required to conduct patrols of the property as well as report any security related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences or activities, whilst monitoring the entry of people to the site and providing information and assistance to patrons as required. 
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your dedicated asset protection and customer service throughout our property at The Star Gold Coast.
A few of your responsibilities: Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees and propertyRespond promptly to incidents, emergencies and disturbances when requiredDocument and report security related incidents, accidents and violations in accordance with internal protocolsMonitor access into restricted areas at The Star Gold CoastWhat are we looking for: Current QLD Certificate 2 or 3 in Security Operations, including a Crowd Control module - essentialResponsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Statement of Attainment - essentialPrevious experience in high volume crowd control - highly regardedA high standard of grooming with a professional appearance Experience in report writing and basic computer skillsPhysically capable and have the ability to stand for extended periods of timeFlexibility to work a 24/7 rotating rosterAbout you: With your exceptional attention to detail and security background, you will take pride in ensuring a safe and unforgettable experience for our guests. Your ability to work collaboratively with a large and diverse team will set our Security Team up for success.
