Job Description We are seeking a full time Safety & Security Officer to join our diverse and dynamic team. This is a rare full-time opportunity to work at our unique Events destination. ABOUT THE ROLE: Key responsibilities will include: Control room monitoring including CCTVV operation and operation of building management systems Roving and static monitoring of the entire Centre Attending to team member and guest incidents Attending to first aid requirements Assisting with guest enquiries Issuing and controlling contractor passes ABOUT YOU: QLD Security Licence to include the following qualifications - Security Officer (unarmed), Crowd Controller and Security Officer (monitoring) Current Apply First Aid Certificate with Advanced Resus and CPR QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol Statement of Attainment In addition to: A genuine willingness and passion to work with people to help and assist Excellent customer service experience obtained from a busy guest facing role Highly effective communication and negotiation skills A commitment to workplace health and safety and the ability to champion a safety culture Availability to work a variety of shifts (Monday to Sunday) "It's not what we do, it's how we do it"!
