Safety & Quality Officer - Based at Bunbury Office with some travel
Part-time - 45 hrs per fortnight (6 x 7.5-hour days, flexible/ shorter days can be negotiated)

About the role
Based in Bunbury, the Safety & Quality Officer will work within the Clinical Operations Team, reporting to the Clinical Governance Coordinator. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Safety & Quality Officer to join our team.
Our new team member will add value to our team whilst completing the tasks listed below:
Be the administrator for our quality management software - Logiqc
Monitor compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and client expectations
Oversee document review and control processes
Conduct safety audits and assign other internal audits to ensure adherence to established quality processes
Prepare and maintain detailed records of quality issues, corrective actions, and continuous improvements
Investigate and report on safety incidents (including clinical), ensuring corrective actions are implemented
Oversee the activity of the site-based Safety Reps in regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations
Promote a culture of quality and safety throughout the organisation
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess the skills and experience below:
Qualifications in safety - Cert 4 minimum or working towards (required)
Previous experience in a safety & quality role
Previous experience in a clinical setting
Knowledge of Australian healthcare and quality standards
Strong analytical, auditing, and reporting skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
