- Safety Manager to join our dynamic team in beautiful Mildura.ABOUT USG2 Netting and Elite Netting design, supply and install top of the line permanent netting structures protecting high value horticultural crops.
The crop protection industry is growing rapidly, with a big future and many career opportunities.We are currently searching for the right candidate to join our team in the Work Health and Safety arena.ABOUT THE ROLEThe full-time role is based at our Mildura office (relocation allowance possible).Develop and lead the Health Safety Representative Team.Maintain knowledge of legislation and state-based requirements.Develop, coordinate and maintain health and safety systems.Advise and support Supervisors in key health and safety matters such as risk management.Develop and implement internal safety audit programs and facilitate and support external WHS audits.Facilitate investigations into safety-related incidents and maintain incident register.REQUIRED EXPERIENCEProven experience in construction, mining, or agriculture safety processes.
Minimum 3 years.Cert IV in WHS minimum.
Diploma preferred.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS REQUIREDMust be a self-manager with strong observation and problem-solving skills.Must have clear communication skills and ability to create positive influence.Can show initiative, application, eagerness to learn and develop.Can contribute value to management team and its operations.
