The Project The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.
The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations.

The role As Safety Manager you will implement and control Safety Management requirements, strategies and initiatives across site and report progress to the Safety Operations Manager.
Develop and administer education and compliance programs for employees, clients, contractors, and visitors Guide and support the Project Leadership Team to develop and implement a safety culture that aligns to the company vision, including adequate development and training in safety critical roles Ensure the project maintains robust risk management processes, capability, focus and discipline related to safety Align region and workplace Safety & Workers Compensation strategies with relevant JHG business plans and assist workplaces to implement them Maintain comprehensive safety records, manage statutory reporting requirements, and monitor safety performance progress Investigate all causes of events on site and recommend actions to prevent future occurrences About you Safety management experience (5+ years) on large Civil Construction, Mining or Infrastructure Projects Quantitative and qualitative risk assessment and monitoring of risk controls and actions involved in delivery and implementation of projects Knowledge of Safety legislation and statutes (especially those relating to State and Federal), and ability to interpret any applicable statutes or legislation relevant to Project Knowledge of Environmental legislation and statutes, and ability to interpret any applicable statutes or legislation relevant to Project We offer Your success is reflected in ours, and as an Alliance we are committed to being an employer of choice here in Adelaide.
