About the Alliance The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor.
About the Role Support the project construction teams with development and refinement of construction and Lift & Shift methodologies, including equipment selection (Cranes and specialised Heavy Lift and Transport equipment), detailed planning, sequencing and staging of complex operations and critical input & impact on permanent and temporary works.
What you will do: Contribute to Safety, including innovative solutions in collaboration with the Project Construction Team and supported by the Lift & Shift team. Autonomously develop turnkey Lift and Shift package with work methods and rolling short-term construction programs, planning daily/weekly Lift & Shift activities. Identify, manage and develop plans for Lift & Shift activities on the project. Provide Lift & Shift technical support with design, advice and outputs in line with industry best practice, legislation codes and standards. Lead and identify change management for Lift & Shift activities and associated temporary works. Provide regular updates to the relevant Project staff and Lift & Shift team on the progress of construction and areas of continual improvement. Actively participate and facilitate workshops to develop WRA, AMS and TRA's for Lift & Shift activities. Maintain effective consultation with the Project team and workforce, various stakeholders, representatives and committees on industrial and safety subjects. Report all potential industrial relation issues to the Construction Manager, Project Manager or Superintendent and provide technical advice. Ensure that written records are kept (notices, registers, diaries, meeting minutes, all contract correspondence). Review and approve Lift & Shift related contractors and employees (competencies, training, ongoing reviews). Define scope and support engagement of Cranes and specialised Heavy Lift & Transport contractors/consultants. What we are looking for: Qualifications: RA (Advanced Rigging) or CO (Open Crane) High Risk Work License. AutoCAD knowledge. Experience: Demonstrated construction experience in a similar role. Substantial experience in cranes rigging and Lift & Shift operations. Technical competency and understanding of Lift & Shift Operations. Experience in developing work outputs i.e. plans, calculations, design reports, design briefs, and methodology documentation. Sound level of commercial and industrial relations acumen. High level of understanding of Alliance Procedures and Manuals. High level of understanding of safety, environment and quality risk management.
