Job Description Roaming role across multiple large construction projects Work for a builder / developer with large pipeline of work Company is expanding and this is a key role for their business This is a unique opportunity to work for a Builder / Developer with a large pipeline of future works. They work in the residential and industrial space, whilst delivering an outstanding product for the end user. Typically, their projects range in size from $10m – $100m and this is a great company with all their systems and procedures in place. WHAT'S ON OFFER You will be the lead Safety Manager, providing mentoring, coaching and guidance, advice on Safety issues and identify / facilitate training requirements. We are looking for someone that has strong site construction experience but can also implement and develop their current systems that they have in place. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Implementing WHS strategies, systems and initiatives Monitoring the progress and effectiveness of WHS campaigns on site Driving a culture of WHS in accordance with Project Values Motivating, leading and mentoring site personnel to foster positive team dynamics, staff morale and work outcomes Ensuring that all employees and sub-contractors are adhering to the Work Health and Safety Management plan, policies and procedures Reflecting on Lessons Learnt and implement new strategies and initiatives Reporting safety performance on a regular basis to the Project Leadership Team and Corporate Executives Weekly and monthly reporting on safety KPI's KEY REQUIREMENTS Must have Tertiary Education within Safety, preferably a Degree in Safety or at least a Diploma in Safety Management Demonstrated experience in a similar role for a reputable Tier 2/3 builder within construction and not Civil Engineering Strong understanding of the construction process on large new build construction projects Understanding of WHS legislation, codes of practice and standards If you would like to find out more and are generally interested in furthering your career, than please contact ****** or call David Shapiro on 0416 214 189.
