Location:Department of Health is seeking interest for permanent full-time Safety Learning System - Statewide Manager to join the Clinical Quality, Regulation & Accreditation team in Hobart.
The Role Under the broad direction of the Chief Risk Officer and the Director Risk, Policy and Compliance, the position is responsible for ensuring the Department of Health's (DoH) risk, policy and compliance systems needs are met, specifically ensuring:
Clinical care, quality and safety are enhanced with the implementation and improvement of the DoH's risk, policy and compliance systems, including associated governance, standards and related policies, procedures and guidelines that guide the effective and efficient management of patient safety information.The development of strategy and plans, management of resources and leading a team responsible for delivering specialist services, expert authoritative independent advice and targeted programs/projects to customers and stakeholders across the DoH.Managing operational delivery by designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative solutions that align with the DoH's strategic directions, consumer requirements, legislative requirements and promoting continuous improvement.As a senior member of the Office of the Chief Risk Officer, lead and collaborate with a range of stakeholders to deliver accurate, reliable and targeted business outcomes that meet a range of national standards, requirements and targeted business outcomes focusing on learning and statewide system improvement.
Details of Appointment Permanent full-time day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time and part-time vacancies.Salary: $139,470 - $148,863 per annum.
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
