About The Role The newly created role of Safety, Health & Wellbeing Lead at Flavorite plays a vital role in shaping and driving the organisation's health, safety, and employee wellbeing agenda. Reporting directly to the Chief HR Officer, this role is responsible for both strategic and operational leadership in promoting a culture of safety, health and wellbeing across multiple sites. As a business partner and subject matter expert, this role involves developing and implementing safety and health strategies and programs, ensuring a streamlined approach to compliance with all relevant Australian legislation, and driving initiatives that foster and contribute to a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.
What You Will Be Doing Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead, mentor, and develop a small team, fostering collaboration and a high-performance environment.Strategic Planning:
Align Safety, Health and Wellbeing strategies with business goals and contribute to continuous improvement across all sites.Wellbeing & Mental Health Programs:
Implement initiatives to promote mental and physical wellbeing, partnering with leaders to embed best practices.Risk Management & Compliance:
Develop proactive tools to manage risks, lead audits, and ensure compliance with legislation and policies.Incident & Injury Management:
Manage WorkCover claims, return-to-work programs, and coordinate with external providers to support injured team members.Data & Reporting:
Provide insights through data analysis, ensuring informed decisions and continuous improvement in Safety, Health and Wellbeing performance.This is an exciting NEW opportunity to make a meaningful impact, driving wellbeing and safety across dynamic sites while supporting the growth of our people and business.
What You Will Bring Great energy & passion for all things People, Safety & Wellbeing!Recognised Degree qualification in Work Health and Safety/ Occupational Health and Safety.Qualifications in mental health, wellbeing, or psychosocial safety (desired).Qualifications in workplace training, incident investigation, and return-to-work management (desired).Extensive experience in safety, health & wellbeing in fast-paced, multi-site environments is highly valued.Demonstrated experience delivering safety leadership and managing workplace risks.Proven ability to contribute to a positive safety culture and present complex information effectively.Strategic Thinking: proven ability to contribute to strategic planning and understanding of the broader organisational context.Strong knowledge of Australian Legislation.Strong experience in managing workplace injuries and return to work.Ability to coach and guide stakeholders on health and safety matters and Australian legislation.Why Flavorite?
