SHEQ Advisor – WA Transport Team$150,000 (inclusive of superannuation) + Site Uplift Ventia is looking for an experienced SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) Advisor to join our WA Transport Team.
This full-time, permanent role is a 2:1 FIFO position supporting our Transport and Civil projects across Western Australia.

Your Role: As the SHEQ Advisor, you will be a key safety leader on our Transport and Civil projects.
You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone involved while promoting a strong culture of safety throughout the projects.
Key Responsibilities: Implement Safety Management Plans and ensure alignment with client-specific requirements. Monitor and maintain compliance with SHEQ legislation, industry standards, and ISO standards. Provide regular updates on safety and health legislation changes, organisational practices, and risk assessments. Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure safety standards are adhered to. Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks. Provide safety coaching and training to workers and subcontractors. Promote a culture of continuous improvement in safety performance. Key Requirements: Tertiary Qualification in Workplace/Occupational Health and Safety or a related field. Proven experience as a safety professional, with a focus on SHEQ in transport, civil, or construction projects. Strong knowledge of SHEQ legislation, regulatory requirements, and ISO standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff and stakeholders. Ability to work in a FIFO environment and adapt to remote site conditions. What We Offer: Competitive Salary of $150,000 inclusive of superannuation + site uplift. 2:1 FIFO roster, flying from Perth.
