SHEQ Advisor – WA Transport Team$150,000 (inclusive of superannuation) + Site Uplift Ventia is looking for an experienced SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) Advisor to join our WA Transport Team.
This full-time, permanent role is a 2:1 FIFO position supporting our Transport and Civil projects across Western Australia.

Your Role:As the SHEQ Advisor, you will be a key safety leader on our Transport and Civil projects.
You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone involved, while promoting a strong culture of safety throughout the projects.
Key Responsibilities: Implement Safety Management Plans and ensure alignment with client-specific requirementsMonitor and maintain compliance with SHEQ legislation, industry standards, and ISO standardsProvide regular updates on safety and health legislation changes, organisational practices, and risk assessmentsConduct site audits and inspections to ensure safety standards are adhered toCollaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risksProvide safety coaching and training to workers and subcontractorsPromote a culture of continuous improvement in safety performanceKey Requirements: Tertiary Qualification in Workplace/Occupational Health and Safety or a related fieldProven experience as a safety professional, with a focus on SHEQ in transport, civil, or construction projectsStrong knowledge of SHEQ legislation, regulatory requirements, and ISO standardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff and stakeholdersAbility to work in a FIFO environment and adapt to remote site conditionsWhat We Offer: Competitive Salary of $150,000 inclusive of superannuation + site uplift2:1 FIFO roster, flying from PerthOpportunity to work on diverse and high-impact transport and civil projects across WAOngoing professional development and career growth opportunitiesA safety-first, inclusive, and supportive team cultureAbout VentiaVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
