Health, Safety & Environment (Construction) Market Leading Geotechnical Service Provider Multiple Projects across Sydney Metro Manage relationships with Tier 1 Contractors Role Focus As the Safety Coordinator, working alongside the National Safety Manager, your focus will be to support project teams across NSW in continually developing the safety and training culture across the business.
Your principal responsibilities will include: Maintain and monitor compliance of the SMS and ensure Project Safety Plans are maintained; Manage subcontractor and regulatory relationships; Lead and champion involvement from the project teams to build on a proactive safety culture; Assist in the provision of leadership for safety initiatives and ensure these initiatives have adequate support and resources; Oversee project reporting requirements; Your Experience Your previous experience in a safety capacity in a civil engineering environment will be highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for developing relationships with project leadership across multiple projects.
Your industry experience will be supported by formal safety-related qualifications, and you will have a solid working knowledge of WHSE related legislation.
