Expect all this and more when you join Linfox.What does the job look like?As the Safety and Compliance Manager you will be responsible for leading the charge in a safety-first culture aligned with our Vision Zero commitment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of site safety, training, and return-to-work processes, ensuring compliance and safeguarding our team. Collaborating closely with employees, site management, and our key stakeholders, you will drive safety initiatives, manage training programs and refreshers, coordinate return-to-work obligations, and implement directives from National and Regional Safety Managers. This role will be a permanent position and based at our Laverton site. Key Areas:Lead and champion a safety-first culture aligned with Linfox's Vision Zero commitment, ensuring a safe workplace for all employees.Oversee all aspects of site safety, ensuring adherence to regulations and company standards.Develop, implement, and manage training programs and refresher courses to maintain staff competency and operational safety.Manage return-to-work processes in partnership with the claims department to achieve tailored outcomes for employees.Engage with employees, site management, and key stakeholders, including HSRs, shift managers, and our customer, to foster safety and compliance.Collaborate with National and Regional Safety Managers to roll out and enforce safety initiatives and directives.Are you the one?You will have a strong commitment to drive safety and compliance across our business coupled with your ability to work in an open, collaborative and inclusive manner will ensure success in this role.
