The Role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Safety Business Partner to join a collaborative team.
This role is responsible for effectively managing the safety of staff across multiple workplaces.
Reporting to the Safety Manager, this role supports the organisation in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by implementing strong risk management procedures, ensuring safety practices align with industry standards, and assisting with incident investigations and safety audits.
Additionally, this role involves analysing safety data, supporting compliance with changing legislation, and collaborating with various stakeholders to facilitate employee safety, including supporting return-to-work programs.
What You'll Bring: Minimum WHS Certificate IV qualifications or equivalent experienceExperience in supporting the implementation of safety-related projects, for example, manual handling, and emergency management programs, across a complex organisationExperience in conducting safety audits, incident investigation and reportingStrong engagement skills and the ability to multitask in a timely manner across multiple workplacesStrong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organisationStrong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to develop reports, briefing papers and other documents accurately and in short time framesEffective time management skills, attention to detail and ability to balance competing prioritiesAbility to travel within Sydney, Hunter, Newcastle and Central Coast areas to attend meetings, deliver training and provide general WHS support at metropolitan or regional locationsCommitment and ability to work and add value within a team environmentWhat We Offer: Meaningful work: Contribute to an organisation that makes a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities.Supportive environment: Join a collaborative and cohesive HR team that values your contributions.Work-life balance: Enjoy flexible working arrangements and a strong focus on employee well-being.Excellent benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package.How to Apply: If you are a highly motivated and experienced safety professional passionate about making a difference, we encourage you to apply.
