Central Queensland (CQ) Health's Workforce Division plays an integral role in the effective management of the people resources for our service.
The division takes the lead role in the attraction, retention, learning and development, performance, discipline, change management, safety and well-being, and engagement of our most important asset - "our people".
The Workforce Division unit comprises approximately 40 human resource practitioners who provide a high quality, client focused and value adding human resource service to management and staff throughout the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS).
About the role:Contribute to the effective development and delivery of professional work health, safety, wellbeing and rehabilitation and return to work services provided by Workforce Safety and Wellbeing.
The position will assist senior positions in all aspects of the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of the safety management system, governance processes, rehabilitation and return to work and wellbeing initiatives.
It will provide high level, quality, confidential administrative support to Workforce Health and Safety (WHS) team as instructed, respond to general inquiries, provide timely accurate information and assistance to staff and stakeholders to facilitate WHS service delivery within the CQHHS.
