Commercial ConstructionCouncil and Government WorksResidential BuildingWe are searching for the right candidate to join our team in carrying out Safety and Quality Advisor work in Orange. We operate out of Orange and Mudgee in regional NSW and service sites all throughout the Central West, Mid West, and North West of NSW.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, flexible, committed, have a strong work ethic, and work well autonomously and within a diverse team.
The position will be responsible for the day-to-day running and coordination of Safety and Quality (including document control) within the business.

ROLE DESCRIPTIONDuties and Responsibilities include:
Managing the incident reporting and investigation process.Performing on-site safety inspections, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.Managing an existing Training and Qualification register through the company portal.Managing and coordinating Safety Induction requirements for Staff and Subcontractors.Coordinating the Traineeship process for trainees and liaising with our third-party trainers.Maintaining records of incidents and injury, trends, and total recordable injury statistics.Administering and coordinating the ISO accreditation process.Conducting an annual review of all Controlled Documents.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in Safety Administration and document control.Strong attention to detail.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Knowledge of, or experience in ISO 45001:2018 OHS Management Systems, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems is highly desirable.Recognised WHS qualification (Diploma, Bachelor) is highly desirable.Qualifications and experience in Safety management systems, internal auditing are highly desirable.Previous experience in maintenance, construction, and shutdown work as HSE Advisor.Strong understanding and working knowledge of Australian HSE legislation and industry standards.An ability to engage and develop relationships across all levels of the organization and with client stakeholders.Valid Australian Driver's Licence.Right to work in Australia.REMUNERATIONThis is a permanent full-time position. Given the broad scope of the role, the salary package will be negotiated based on the experience and qualifications of the candidate.
