Safety and Quality Administrator - Full TimeSafety and Quality Administrator - Sydney The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world.
Using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology we deliver extensive health care and 24-hour emergency service to those who live in and travel through remote, rural and regional Australia.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section (RFDSSE) seeks to appoint a Safety and Quality Administrator based at the Surry Hills office in Sydney.
As a member of the Risk and Assurance team, this exciting and rewarding role will provide administrative support to meet the RFDSSE Safety and Quality objectives.
Reporting to the Head of Risk and Assurance, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Maintaining oversight of the incident management system.Coordinate and manage the safety and quality email inbox.Assist with the follow-up of corrective & control actions for audits, investigations, and risk assessments.Extracting data, preparing reports and presentations for organisational meetings and committees.Taking minutes for key quality and safety meetings.To be considered for this position you must have: Understanding of quality and safety management systems.Advanced computer skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.Aptitude for technology, with experience in multiple software applications and/or business information systems.
Knowledge and experience with Air Maestro and iAuditor is desirable.Ability to take initiative on individual tasks and work collaboratively on team projects.Knowledge of Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Regulations, Health and Safety legislation, and ISO 9001 Quality Management System standard is desirable.For more information about the Safety and Quality Administrator position contact, Head of Risk and Assurance, Sarah Wills at or phone .
