Health, Safety & Environment (Mining, Resources & Energy) Full time Salaries commencing from $109,987 + super Fly-In/Out of Perth on 8/6 RosterLifestyle friendly employment opportunitiesESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian outback.
The Position: Demonstrate your understanding of implementing risk-based assessments, root cause investigation, and the importance of understanding and applying human factors principles to the management of site-based teamsWork with teams and individuals, lead meetings, pre-starts, and safety-related trainingMonitor the implementation of operational safety, health, environment, and QA policies and programsUndertake incident investigations and reportingDrive safety behaviours and culture through Field Leadership activitiesThe Person: Minimum Cert IV in WHSCert IV Training & Assessing (or willingness to obtain)Minimum of two years of experience in Health and Safety, Environmental, Health or similar.Experience in incident investigations (ICAM preferred)Knowledge of HACCP principles and people safety in a hospitality setting (training also provided)Knowledge of Microsoft Office, web-based software applications, and a high level of computer literacy in general;Advanced verbal and written communication skillsThe Benefits: Access to a wide variety of training & developmentMultiple salary packaging options to help your dollar go furtherClear career paths and support to achieve your goalsPersonal and site-based recognition programsFull paid training prior to deployment in our Perth AcademyOver 100 employee benefits with Compass' ongoing partnership with MaximaWe are committed to providing a recruitment process that is fair, equitable and accessible for all.
