With the current Safety Advisor being promoted, they are looking for the next Safety Leader to join the team and uphold and enhance their outstanding safety practices.
The Role: As the Safety Advisor , you will report directly to the Operations Manager and be the go-to person for all things safety across the site.
This role is fully autonomous, meaning you'll have the freedom to drive safety initiatives, manage compliance, and promote a culture of health and safety.
You'll also oversee Injury Management and play a key part in Safety, Health, and Environment management.
With a hands-on, all-encompassing role, this is your opportunity to take full ownership of safety operations in a world-class environment.
Key duties include: Safety Inductions : Manage and coordinate all inductions across the site.
Compliance : Conduct site walks and ensure that all safety standards are met.
Safety Admin : Manage all documentation related to safety processes and compliance.
Return to Work : Assist with injury management and return-to-work plans.
Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Health & Safety Champion : Lead the way in promoting a positive safety culture.
The Skills Required: Qualifications : Tertiary degree in Safety or equivalent essential!
Experience : Site-based experience safety experience is a must, with industrial experience highly regarded.
Attributes : A proactive communicator with strong multitasking abilities and leadership skills.
